Open Spam Dam in Safari. Tap the Share button, choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.
Computer
In Chrome or Edge, click the install symbol in the address bar. If it is hidden, open the browser menu and choose Install Spam Dam.
Connect your call log to SpamDam
Private call history and Android connection
A signed Android test app is available to signed-in users through Private call history. Open it, tap Sign in and connect, approve your account, and allow call-log access. No connection key to copy. Android permission availability varies by phone and installation.
- Install SpamDam in Android Chrome, then open it once.
- After a call, take a screenshot in Phone → Recents.
- Tap Share → SpamDam if available. Review the number, classify the call, and save.
If SpamDam does not appear, open the quick-call screen and choose the screenshot. Existing Android installations may need time to refresh their share-menu registration. On iPhone, open SpamDam and choose a screenshot from Photos.

This home-screen web app supports manual call entries, screenshot import, and voice classification where your browser supports speech recognition. It cannot read your phone call log, intercept calls, silence calls, or block numbers.
Those features require the separate native Android app, a signed installation package, and the Android call-screening role. Full answered/missed-call enrichment also requires a permitted build with separately granted call-log access. A signed test APK is available to signed-in users; broad device testing and Google Play distribution remain outstanding.
Recording is not automatic. Keep any original recording made with your phone’s supported recording features; permission to read call logs does not grant recording access.
Replacing your phone? On the old phone, open the Evidence Log and enable account backup. On the new phone, sign in with the same ChatGPT account and choose Restore on This Device.
